About the Practice
The practice is based in Pietermaritzburg, however the Psychologist expand her services to other communities in Kwa Zulu-Natal , stretching as far as uMzimkhulu.
We all have walked through different life experiences that some, as a result have impacted on our current emotional state and behaviours. I tailor my therapy sessions in a way that it will meet your needs. We are all different and therapy will enable you to pull out that inner strength to be able to overcome your life challenges be it Depression, Anxiety, Unresolved Past Traumas, Relationship problems with self and others as well as Addictions.
Services are offered by a licensed Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa since year 2012. Your therapist holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Zululand. She has served at institutions of higher learning as a Psychologist as and as a lecturer. She still enjoy helping young Psychologist in training to grow professionally by offering clinical case supervision to the university.
Besides her Masters degree, she has enhanced her knowledge by obtaining Certification as independent Assessor by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and Medico-Legal Assessment certificate from the university of Cape Town. These allows her to do assessments for mental impairments for the Road Accident Fund and other companies.
